Clyde F. Shuler (1892-1969) was an industrial designer as well as a design educator. Among radio collectors, he is best known for the design of the cathedral radio cabinets which housed Models 36B, 43B, 47B, 52B, 71B and 91B. The same style would be used by Philco in all of its "Baby Grand" (cathedral) cabinets through December 1933, and on many cathedral models up to May 1934.
