Original selling price: $100
Number made: 2,000

Philco's largest Baby Grand up to that time used 11 tubes and covered AM and shortwave from 520 kc to 23 mc in five bands. Model 16 even incluided a squelch control to cut background noises while tuning. The squelch could be turned on and off by a toggle switch on the side panel, and the squelch threshold was controlled by a potentiometer mounted in back of the set.

Original selling price: $75
Number made: 22,100

MODEL 16L
A large Lowboy with the powerful Philco 16 chassis which, like most larger 1933 Philco consoles, could produce 10 watts output.

Original selling price: $125
Number made: 2,200 (NOTE: Figure includes production of Models 14L & 17L as well as July 1933 Models 14L & 18LS, Fall 1933 Model 19L, and January 1934 Model 34L)

MODEL 16X

A large "X" model with the 16 chassis.

Original selling price: $150
Number made: 2,000

MODEL 17B
NOTE: Grille cloth is incorrect; it should use the 70/90 pattern as used in Model 16B above.

The Model 17 had eleven tubes, like the Model 16, but only covered AM and the "police" band (1.5 to 4 mc). It was not a popular set and did not sell very well in any of its versions, as most people who could afford an eleven-tube set opted for the Model 16 instead.

Original selling price: $65
Number made: 2,350 (NOTE: Figure includes production of June 1933 Models 43B & 91B)

MODEL 17L
Another attractive 1933 Lowboy model.

Original selling price: $100

Original selling price: $37.50
Number made: 20,750 (NOTE: Figure includes production of January 1933 Model 19B)

MODEL 19H
Model 19 could now be purchased as a console. While production of this model was not really high, examples are not difficult to find today.

MODEL 19X
Perhaps this (and the 91X below) was Philco's way of using up leftover 1932 Model 15X cabinets. The small Model 19 chassis is almost lost in this huge cabinet.

Original selling price: $65
Number made: 3,600 (NOTE: Figure includes production of Model 91X)

MODEL 43H
