Philco for 1935 (introduced Fall 1934)

THE FOLLOWING MODELS REMAINED IN THE PHILCO LINEUP: 18B, 18H, 18MX, 28C, 28L, 29D, 29TX, 32B, 32L, 34B, 34L, 38B, 38L, 39B, 45C, 45L, 49B, 49H, 49D, 54C, 54S, 59C, 59S, 60B, 60L, 89B, 89L, 118B, 118H, 118D, 118MX, 118RX, 144B, 144H, 144D, 200X, 503L, 505L, 506L, 507L.

MODELS 16L, 16X, 16RX, 500X & 501X WERE CHANGED TO A NEW 4-BAND CHASSIS (520 kc - 22.5 mc).

THE FOLLOWING MODELS WERE DISCONTINUED: 16B, 18X, 29X, 49X, 66B, 118X, 144X.

MODEL 16B

A completely new 16 Baby Grand was issued in Fall 1934. The appearance is similar to the June 1934 model, but the top is more "peaked." The new cabinet contains the all-new 4-band 16 chassis.

MODEL 29X

NOTE: Grille cloth should be the Philco "V" pattern as used in the 16B above.
Also, the finish should be Extra Dark Walnut overall with a Medium Walnut control panel.

MODEL 66B

The new 66 Baby Grand was housed in a cabinet identical with Models 39B & 89B.

MODEL 201X

Another new High-Fidelity Philco, this one featured a shortwave band (4.2 to 12 mc) as well as the AM band. Like Model 200X, this set uses 10 tubes.

MODEL 509X

This very large, super-deluxe radio-phonograph uses a high fidelity Model 201 chassis along with a 78 rpm phonograph. A limited edition set priced for the wealthy, only 500 were made.
