Philco's 1960 radio line had far fewer phonograph models in the lineup but more transistorized models than ever.

Model H691 Philco's only tube-type portable radio for the 1960 season uses four tubes plus a selenium rectifier, and can operate on AC or DC current or on battery power. The AM ferrite rod antenna is built into the handle, which may be rotated for best reception.

Model H762 Another five tube model, this Philco uses a Telechron J3 automatic clock. The cabinet was available in three colors:

Model H763 This model uses a Telechron J4 automatic clock timer with a snooze button on top. The AM radio uses five tubes. This model includes an AC outlet, to which an appliance may be plugged into for automatic turn on and turn off. The cabinet was made in three colors:

Model H765 A clock radio with styling inspired by the Philco Predicta TV set, this model has a clock mounted above the base in the same manner as a table model Predicta. The clock also swivels, like a Predicta picture tube. It uses five tubes and receives the AM band. The cabinet was available in ivory (shown at left) or ebony. |

Model H829 This model uses a four tube autodyne circuit, and has no IF amplification. It only receives the AM band. The H829 was available in ivory or yellow. |

Model H984 A very plain AM-FM table model radio, the H984 has separate round FM and AM dials on the left and right sides of the front panel. This model uses eight tubes plus a selenium rectifier. The cabinet was available in Aqua and Ebony. |

Model H1617 Available in mahogany or walnut finishes, the H1617 is a stereo phonograph which uses five tubes with an output power of 6 watts per channel. The set included two H-SS-39 4 inch speakers which could be used externally or inside the main cabinet. Two 6 inch speakers were also mounted inside the main cabinet. |

Model H1619 The H1619 stereo phonograph uses the same five tube amplifier as model H1617. Two 5-1/4 inch speakers and two 8 inch speakers are mounted in the H1619 cabinet. It also uses two 4 inch extension speakers, model H-SS-41 (not shown). The cabinet was available in mahogany or maple. |

Model H1714 This model uses one 12 inch woofer in the center of the cabinet, with a 4 inch midrange speaker and an electrostatic tweeter in each end for stereo reproduction. The five tube amplifier offers 10 watts per channel, and separate bass and treble controls. A four speed automatic record changer is used. Left and right input jacks are provided so that an external tuner or other audio source may be used. This model was available in either mahogany or blonde. |

Model H1716 This phonograph model is made much like the H1714 above; it uses one 12 inch woofer mounted in the center front of the cabinet. A 5-1/4 inch midrange speaker and an electrostatic tweeter are mounted in each end of the cabinet. A four speed automatic record changer is also used in this model. The set uses an eight tube amplifier with one tube in the control unit, and the other seven in the main amplifier chassis. The service manual claims a total peak power of 40 watts per channel. Accessory speakers, model H-SS-10, were available for this model. The wood cabinet was available in three finishes: mahogany, maple, and California mahogany. |

Model H1814 The H1814 uses nine tubes; one in the control unit and eight on the main amplifier chassis. It was advertised as producing 40 watts per channel. A 12 inch woofer is mounted in the main cabinet, while two auxillary speaker cabinets (not shown), each of which contain a 2 x 10 inch midrange speaker and an electrostatic tweeter, are used for the left and right channels. The unit also includes a four speed automatic record changer. Left and right input jacks are provided for a separate tuner or other audio source. The wood cabinet was available with a mahogany, cherry, or walnut finish. |

Model H1916 This model uses two 12 inch woofers, which are mounted in the left and right sides of the main cabinet. Two auxillary speaker cabinets (not shown) each contain a 2 x 10 midrange speaker and an electrostatic tweeter. The amplifier uses nine tubes; one in the control unit, with the other eight on the mainamplifier chassis. It produces 50 watts per channel. A four speed automatic record changer is also included. Input jacks are provided for a tuner or other audio source to be used with this unit. The cabinet was available in mahogany and provincial finishes. |

Model RT-300 This AM-FM monaural tuner could be used with the high fidelity phonographs above; the larger models of which had a space which this tuner was designed to fit into. It uses seven tubes. |

Model RT-400 Similar to the RT-300 above, the RT-400 includes FM stereo reception. 10 tubes are used in this model. Like the RT-300, the RT-400 was designed for use with the better 1960 model Philco high fidelty phonographs, which had a space which this tuner could be mounted into. |

Model T-1000 This six transistor AM table model follows the styling cues of the table model Predicta TV sets. It is somewhat similar in appearance to the H765 shown above. It includes a clock with two 4 inch speakers, with the speakers mounted on either side of the clock. Like the H765, the T-1000 was available in Ebony or Ivory. |
