Someone on the barking dog forum claimed to have acquired Dr. Fred Banting's radio, a Stromberg Carlson of 1936-37 vintage, but unlike King Gustov's radio there wasn't really any provenance other other then someone wrote the name "Fred Banting", in pencil, inside the cabinet. The restoration was not exactly that great either, it looked like an antique mall style job with no filler, or shading lacquer, and probably used varnish from a can. I think that radio deserved better even if it wasn't Dr. Banting's set.
