Not a special radio by any means. With 7 tubes, counting the ballast, it is a good example of the tube count inflation that the maker was known for. In this case the use of two  43s to drive that little 5 inch speaker was probably a waste. Yet I would rather have ample audio than two or three ballast tubes.

The new speaker cone helps the audio a lot.

The chassis was in good shape. I don't think anyone had ever worked on it. So it got the caps all restuffed and some new rubber wire. All of the tubes except the rectifier were Kenrads, which were probably original.

The cabinet had been smashed in shipping. Now that is something new!

It works pretty good and makes a nice display companion to our Kadette 66 from the same year.

Yeah, it needs a knob.

If this is the chassis after restoration, it looks like factory, as if no one touched it.

Yes it is. Notice the new cloth covered wire coming out of the filter cap box.
