116B Shadow Meter as 16B Replacement? - Nathan Slingerland - 05-23-2015

Would a 'new' style shadow meter (e.g. 45-2083-Y) from a late model 116b work as a replacement on an older 16b chassis (had a boxey 'old' style originally)?

My sense is that electrically it should be possible but are the meters physically compatible?

Yes. The only problem you may run into is the resistance of the coil inside the meter unit being different.

Perfect - thanks Ron!
