Ive gotta replace a broken (literly) resister but, the socket post it connects to is really wobbly... I am getting continuity when I test it with my multimeter on the ohm setting but it comes and goes, do I need to replace it or can it be fixed? One of leads to the broken resistor use to go there and that’s what is broken

Thanks

Is the socket still wobbly when the tube is inserted?

Since not everyone reading this will have a clear idea what socket it is, in what radio and how it is connected and why it is wobbly, a more detailed description with possibly some pictures would definitely help.
