Two questions: 37-84 - Tobymiles - 07-24-2013

Hello all! So this is officially my Second post Icon_smile i just bought a 37-84 and had two quick questions. The back of the radio has two "terminals", one marked for antenna and the other marked "end". The guy who evidently restored it attached a wire to the antenna terminal, so how do you obtain best reception? Have the wire just hanging out or tie it to something higher or what? Also, what is the "end" terminal for? I can attach an image if anyone would like. Thanks So much!

The "e" is really a "g" and this terminal is for a ground connection. This radio was made to use a long wire antenna mounted outdoors but most of us have to make do with something less elaborate these days. I have a long wire antenna in my attic. You may get decent reception with a wire strung along the baseboards.
