Philco 91 Dial Scale - cwirth - 12-05-2013

It seems that the station frequency is not showing correctly on the dial scale of my Philco 91. When I am tuned into a station on 1260 the dial scale pointer is around 1360. I do not see a way of adjusting the dial scale since it is rivited to a large pulley that is fastened to the variable capacitor. Would an alignment fix this?

Thanks,

Charlie

In short, yes Charlie an adjustment of the oscillator and rf section (antenna) trimmers on the variable capacitor should bring it in. Don't mess with the IF can trimmers at this time.
