A Radiola 33 in a custom cabinet.
#1

I ran across an old console radio today for $30 and was suprised to see that it was a Radio 33 put into a custom console cabinet with a rectified Utah speaker. I initially thought it was an empty cabinet until I opened the doors. Cabinet had a broken leg that looked like a very old break, but luckily, no-one had turned it into an amputee and the leg was still there! I didn't buy the unit, though the price was right. All tubes were there, but the off-on switch was messed up and the tuning cord was broke. I was tempted to buy it as I do have a parts 33, but have no room. Icon_sad Still, it was unusual to see.

No matter where you go, there you are.
