Restored Airline 62-101
#1

Just finished this airline that I got at Sargents auction 2 weeks ago. Looks great. This radio cabinet needed a lot of work. Both sides were replaced including plywood inners and veneer, top veneer and cabinet has been reglued and ball feet  were reglued , inside cabinet has been painted and new speaker board . Solid as a rock, still looking for 1 nob. Recapped and cleaned , plays good.

It looks just grand.

People who do not drink, do not smoke, do not eat red meat will one day feel really stupid lying there and dying from nothing.

Some day, and that day may never come, I will call upon you to do a service for me. But until that day, accept this justice as a gift

What a beautiful radio ! I would love to see a picture of it in low light and working, so I could see the dial glowing in that beautiful setting.
