Rogers 10-12 all stained

  I thought  I might post some photos of this great radio. I just hope I can do it justice in the restoration of the cabinet.
Here it is so far  all stripped and with one coat of dark walnut stain

Looking good Dan, I would have done all the black paint work first like in the groves and speaker grill inner edges first like we talked about, then scrape or sand over spray off. Then do all the dark colors like the shoulders, and the base molding. Then you can do all the lighter toning, Did you do your grain filling and sanding? That has to be done before any color is applied to wood . There are many ways to refinish furniture and that goes for antique radios. I am just letting you know the steps on how I do mine , also I can show you a few tricks of the trade if you like.
