Stewart Warner R-1262 (cabinet refinish)
#1

I love the style of this very uncommon SW tombstone radio. I had restored a cabinet for customer of the same model and really liked it so I made it a point to find one for my self and I did . The cabinet came out real nice considering  how messed it up was, toned it to as close to factory as possibly. Now I am working on chassis , it also was a mess and will take quite a bit of work to get it back to a decent condition Icon_wave

Those are nice radios.

Are you going to buff it out?

More Pictures, the gloss level will go down some because of fresh clear hasn't cured out , and along with the smoothness will also increase when fully cured. Icon_wtf

Thanks Crist, clear has dry good now and I went ahead and installed the new grill cloth from Kennys and reinstalled escuteon. The hard part for me now is getting the chassis up and running and looking good.

It's a beautiful piece.

People who do not drink, do not smoke, do not eat red meat will one day feel really stupid lying there and dying from nothing.
