West-Tech now rebuilds the Philco Beam of Light head for the 1941 and 1942 Philco Models (only built these two years). They also offer complete rebuilds of 1941 and 1942 Beam of Light changers.

Philco Escutcheons

Larry Bordonaro at Old-Time Replications is the man to see about reproduction Philco escutcheons (dial bezels), knobs and pushbuttons. His reproductions are of excellent quality.

He also sells reproduction 1941 and 1942 Philco escutcheons. The reproductions look just like the original, as seen at right.

Please note that the reproduction escutcheons do not include the brass strip just above the knob holes. Save and re-use the brass strip from your original escutcheon.

Their 1941 escutcheon fits the following models: 41-250, 41-255, 41-256, 41-280, 41-285, 41-287, 41-290, 41-296 and 41-610.

And their 1942 escutcheon fits the following: 42-355, 42-380, and 42-390.

Grommets

Don Patterson	Replacement rubber tuning condenser grommets for Models 70, 90, and other similar Philcos made between 1931 and 1936 are available from Don Patterson. These will raise the tuning condenser back to its proper height, and they mount just like the originals.
	Renovated Radios carries a number of different Philco rubber grommets and mounts including flat and round chassis mounts and reproduction corner mounts for 1935 and 1939-1942 Philcos.

Mark Oppat's Old Radio Parts - The "King of Controls" has probably the largest stock of volume controls in the USA, including original Philco and Zenith, but mostly Centralab, Clarostat, IRC and Mallory. Many rare tapped ones too. He can also fix many controls.

West-Tech offers total restoration of 78 rpm record players, 45 rpm record players and other three and four speed phonographs, wire recorders, record cutters and transcription players.
They rebuild old metal and plastic phono cartridges for 78 players, jukeboxes, crystal and magnetic cutting heads and also rebuild the crystal and dynamic microphones and crystal headsets.
They rebuild idler wheels including totally vulcanized NEW rubber for 45, VM and Zenith Cobra changers. They sell "hard-to-find" needles, cartridges, and other phono parts.
