OWNER'S SERVICE POLICY

WE are greatly pleased to welcome you as an owner of a Philco Balanced-Unit Radio and are confident that your choice of Philco has insured your getting many hours of broadcast entertainment and music with the greatest possible naturalness and purity of tone.

The only reason for the extensive laboratory experiments, the great care given even to the smallest designed feature, the caution throughout the restoration, and the many tests on each Receiver is to give you complete satisfaction.

Our interest in a Philco Radio does not stop when you receive the chassis from us and reinstall it in its cabinet in your home. We maintain complete facilities for the correct servicing of Philco Radio, if such service is ever required. We are at all times ready to help with tips and advice so that you will get the full amount of enjoyment from your Philco.

To further protect your interest, each Philco Radio chassis that we restore is guaranteed by us against defective material and workmanship for a period of one year. In addition, we are so confident in our service work that we will guarantee all new parts installed by us for an additional three years, for a total of four years. (Some limitations apply; see below.) Only Ron Ramirez has the full authority to carry out this guarantee.

Our four year limited warranty is not limited to Philco, however. Owners of Airline, Atwater Kent, Belmont, Brunswick, Crosley, Detrola, Edison, Emerson, FADA, Freed-Eisemann, Garod, GE, Gilfillan, Grebe, Grunow, Howard, Jackson-Bell, Magnavox, Majestic, Midwest, Pilot, RCA Victor, Scott, Silver-Marshall, Silvertone, Sonora, Sparton, Stewart-Warner, Stromberg-Carlson, Trav-Ler, Truetone, U.S. Radio & Television, Wells-Gardner, Westinghouse, Wilcox-Gay, Zenith and other brands of radios also enjoy the same four year limited warranty on chassis restored by Ron Ramirez.

STANDARD WARRANTY

By submitting your radio to us for restoration and repair, you hereby agree to the warranty terms and conditions outlined below:

RON RAMIREZ warrants that the radio receiver covered under this limited warranty will be free from defects in new materials installed by us (except as specifically outlined below) for a period of ONE YEAR from your invoice date.

Should your radio prove defective during this period, return it to our office in Evansville, Indiana. We will replace the defective new part(s) without charge for parts or labor.

IF YOUR RADIO DEVELOPS A DEFECT DURING THE WARRANTY PERIOD AND YOU CHOOSE NOT TO RETURN IT TO US FOR EXAMINATION AND REPAIR, THIS ENTIRE WARRANTY SHALL IMMEDIATELY BECOME NULL AND VOID.

In addition, should any covered new components in your radio prove defective after ONE YEAR from your invoice date and up to FOUR YEARS from your invoice date, return it to our office. We will replace the defective new part(s) without charge for the part(s), charging only for actual labor costs involved.

This warranty does NOT cover any original parts, wiring, etc. remaining in the radio, nor does it cover parts in the radio not installed by us, which may be subject to failure beyond our control. Tubes, pilot lamps, and used parts installed by us are also not covered. Refinishing and/or cabinet work is NOT covered under this limited warranty. Likewise, failure to properly maintain the set, misuse, abuse, neglect, improper shipping, damage caused by failure of the radio or any component thereof, damage caused by disasters such as fire, flood, and lightning, and improper electrical current are not covered under this limited warranty. Shipping costs and/or transportation costs incurred in presenting your radio for warranty service are your responsibility. If a claimed defect cannot be identified or reproduced in service, you will be held responsible for costs incurred.

THE WARRANTY AND REMEDY PROVIDED ABOVE ARE EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES. RON RAMIREZ SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS, INCONVENIENCE, OR DAMAGE, INCLUDING DIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, RESULTING FROM THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE RADIO.
