Reading glasses in the car. Yes I have not worked on one. The sliver part look to be part of the chassis.
If anyone wants 60$ shipping I'll get it to u

An Emerson painted Pepto-Bismol pink, and silver, with a chip, and possibly the wrong knobs I think. It may be worth $60 in good original condition, but even then that's a stretch these days. It was probably painted because the cabinet was damaged, the chassis also appears to have a power transformer.

Anyone have a dip tank?

This radio is not an Emerson BF-207. The BF-207 has three knobs out front and one at the back. Also the BF-207 doesn’t use a power transformer like this one does. I’ll keep looking.

I believe what you have is an Emerson BL-200, Riders vol 9. Joe

According to the CD-ROM edition of Bunis the original Emerson BF-207 cabinet colors were walnut or ivory, and I concur that the knobs do not look original.

Still a radio. Still an Emerson. Still antiue and restorable.
Maybe nogt $60, but should that one come $30, it is not a bad weekend project.
And Pepto-Bismol color...heck, it's entertaining! Plus positively affects stomach in old age, purely associatively.

Dale, What is BUNIS? Also, the radio is not a BF-207, it is a BL-200. Look at the Radio Attic site and compare Trogs radio to the BF-207. Lets not confuse the poor fellow. The schematics are different and the BL-200 uses a power transformer, the BF-207 does not.

Joe -
Bunis is what many of us call the several volumes of "The Collector's Guide to Antique Radios," originally written by Marty and Sue Bunis.

Those books are pretty much defunct, I was given one of their last printed editions as a Christmas gift a few years ago, and it was a second hand copy from Amazon. They used to be useful in identifying some sets in that they had colour photos, but that was in the pre internet era.
