Need identification - jnlfrazier - 09-15-2023

Picked this radio up at an auction. Works very well. Can't find much out. Need a little help. Thanks in advance.

That's it!! Really appreciate your help.

RE: Need identification - GarySP - 09-15-2023

The radio in question is a 51-932. It is identical to 50-922 Dan mentions. For 1951 model year the 51-932 referred to the cabinet. The 932 model only came in maroon. I gleaned this info from the model label on your set, and the information available in the Philco Radio Gallery https://philcoradio.com/gallery2/1951a/

Hope this helps. Take care and BE HEALTHY! Gary

The code 121 chassis used the octal rectifier vs the code 122 using a loctal. GL and it looks like it's a pretty nice set w/a rf amp and
osc tracking adj @the hi & lo ends of the band.
