81 Jr Cabinet Labels
#1

Anyone have a picture of or know where I can get the interior labels for an 81 Jr Cabinet?  The ones in mine are completely gone.

Thanks, Bill

Hi Bill,

Here are some pictures I saved from a recent auction:

You might be able to figure out the exact original sizes from marks on your cabinet and chassis.

Nathan. Thanks for the pictures. That definitely helps me know what was inside (at least on one side). I am wondering if there is a tube layout on the other side of the cabinet. The ones on the back of my chassis are still pretty good.

I wonder if there was - here are a few more pics of other 81 cabinets:

As far as I can see from these examples there aren't any additional labels for the tube layout.

I just realized - that patent label looks like it is basically a larger version of the reproduction one I made for my 645:

You might be able to just use that. Icon_smile

Oops - no. Looking more closely there are a bunch of differences: the 645 label doesn't have the model number, the patent list is smaller on the 81 and the font used is also different.

If you don't want to try and make your own, this fellow makes reproductions.
