Philco model 77

Here's a photo of the ever elusive parts number page for this set, mine shows a different part number from the 2766, mine shows a 2848, is this the same opt?
#17

I couldn't find that #.  Look here  http://philcoradio.com/phorum/showthread.php?tid=215    under spkr zip.

When my pals were reading comic books
I was down in the basement in my dad's
workshop. Perusing his Sam's Photofoacts
Vol 1-50 admiring the old set and trying to
figure out what all those squiggly meant.
Circa 1966
Now I think I've got!

Here's the link directly to the speaker file:

http://www.philcoradio.com/phorum/attach...p?aid=5181

It should directly download the speakers.zip file to your PC, then you need to unzip it to read it.

I finally found it and downloaded it, however last night I pulled the opt up to get a better look at it and have 2 loose solder joints. I don't know if this is the problem or not but I'll re solder and try again.
#22

So I've gone back and soldered the broken contacts on the speaker to see if I'd get a different reading, it didn't seem to change the readings or voltages on the 45 tubes so it looks like I am now on the hunt for either a new speaker assembly or a new functioning output transformer. What's going to be the best way try to see if anything comes across ebay eventually or try a looking for ad?

Where did the rest of the thread go?
