A little off topic but congrats on getting ur tech ticket! de N3GTE When my pals were reading comic books I was down in the basement in my dad's workshop. Perusing his Sam's Photofoacts Vol 1-50 admiring the old set and trying to figure out what all those squiggly meant. Circa 1966 Now I think I've got! Terry

Would encourage you to keep going and get the General class ticket. A lot more going on on the lower bands (just not right now w/the poor propagation). So are they giving out 2 by 3 calls now for tech?? Those use to be relegated to the novice class and when you pass the tech test you could get a 1 by 3 call.
