I've recapped and the radio plays but my question concerns the magic eye. All of the ones I have come across use a 1 megohm resistor in the plug and this one R-15 calls for a 500M (500k).
The 6U5 that came with it is very week but reactive and I have a 6E5 new (Japan) that is very bright but not very reactive. Would that be the difference from 500K to the 1meg?
