There's something Halloweenish in the last photo. Icon_lol

Great job!

People who do not drink, do not smoke, do not eat red meat will one day feel really stupid lying there and dying from nothing.

the lines are the ghost of radio past haunting the radio. actually its the lighting I got a new camera

Actually the lines are what are called "sugar lines." They appear in maple and a few other hard woods and are very desirable. Notice how beautifully bookmatched they are. That is a sign of really fine cabinet making. This is something one often sees in two piece violin backs. I know a little about it, since I make and repair violins as another of my hobbies.

Philco commonly used this figured walnut veneer on the "Clyde Shuler" style cabinets. The dark lines run diagonally across the veneer. When book matched, it creates a chevron pattern. Here is a photo of the raw veneer.
