#1

Hello Everyone,
Well, I needing to replace the power cord on my Zenith Model 908 built in 1935 my big question of the day is The Zenith radios of this period what a correct color I did find like piece about inch long it looks to be light brown or faded black with an orange   strip that reminds me of a candy cane .

Hi Rob,

I have been looking for wire of this quality for the longest time. When I was a kid, Grandpa must have bought a bunch of this type of wire before his stroke. I used it to rewire Grandma's crystal lamps that she kept on her sideboard. These lamps dated from the 20s or 30s and this modern but cloth covered zip cord looked great. Have not found any since (this was back around 1966; I was 11 years old and already a budding electrician. Nice to know that someone supplies wire of this quality. Most of the cloth covered power cord I found on the Bay comes from China and is not UL Listed
