model 20 dog bone resistor values
#1

I want to replace the 5 dogbone resistors. I can not find the equivelent part number/codes for these parts. I would appreciate any help you can give.
#2

Why do you need the part numbers? You can't just go down to the Philco distributor and get these anymore...

Anyway, your wish is my command:

(12) 50,000 ohms, part no. 4237
(15) 250,000 ohms, part no. 3768
(17) 500,000 ohms, part no. 3769
(18 ) 100,000 ohms, part no. 3767
(20) 500,000 ohms, part no. 3769

Here's some additional info where they are listed by wattage.

http://www.philcorepairbench.com/carbonres.htm

And if yours aren't shown in the list click on the comparison pictures link. That is handy for all old dogbones, not just Philco.

You will probably have to resort to modern values like 470k instead of 500k, etc.

thanks for your help. Ron, which site has these part numbers? I understand you don't sell them.

You aren't going to be able to find those parts any longer more than likely. I'd recommend you get modern equivilents...

Try http://www.justradios.com : http://www.justradios.com/rescart.html

Look for ones that are as close as possible in the 1W Flame Proof column. They come in packs of 5.

50k ohm would = 47k ohm
250k = 250k
500k = 500k
100k = 100k
