Philco 37-84 restoration
#1

Well, friends.
The restoration has finished. You know how it got this radio to my hands. This was very poor on the front.

The problem was getting the typical photo finish, in the early thirties. Without this the radio will not get to have the look of his time.
Luckily, my friend Terry of the Phico Phurum, send me a scan of your Philco 37-84. He sends me in two parts because it was impossible to do a full scan.

Now the job is to unite the two parts, using software such as Photoshoip and Ilutrator. The mission is to get one piece and that the lace pattern.

We print on thin paper digital image. Using a glue dissolved in water, got hit the paper layer on the front. As you can see, we have a uniform image, cloning the colors. So, once attached to the front we cut the holes in the speaker grille and knobs.

And we began to cut

finally cutting has finished
