Philco 18" speakers-I did not know.
#1

Ebay seller has a pair of original Philco 18" speakers. I never knew Philco sold these as std equipment. circa 1966.

Comments ?

The seller should have cleaned off, or marked out, the $5 thrift store price before expecting to get big buck$$$ on FleaBay...

But to answer your question, Bruce, I was unaware of Philco ever using 18 inch speakers in anything...

I have a feeling this person has seen what the Jensen Super-Giants are selling for, and is trying to cash in on the madness.

Those speakers look like they were pulled out of a cabinet stereo of some kind. $375 for the set? I don't think so since you probably couldn't give away the unit they came out of.

Wotta`silly boob! If some sucker DOES buy those things, he's going to look for a lawyer in a big hurry.

This is the funniest eBay thing I've ever seen!

I bought a pair of Electro-Voice 18 inch speakeres for around that price once. Big difference was that I KNEW what they were!

"I hooked them to my personal system with amp and that sound great with clear high's and deep thumping bass"

Sorry, no deep thumping bass outside of a cabinet.

"I just might turn into smoke, but I feel fine"
