That's a Philco 50T-1403. It's a 12" B&W set from 1950 and $50 is a good price in that condition. Having a nice original finish along with all the correct knobs and back is a plus. If you want it to be functional again, the picture tube is a concern as replacements are kinda hard to find and may run you $100 or more.

Oh and I'm not sure what you mean by roundie but in the TV collecting community it means early color TV with a round picture tube. They first came out in 1954. B&W sets were all round up until around 1950-51 when they switched to rectangular. Making a rectangular color picture tube was much more difficult and didn't happen until the mid 60s.

That's a 1946 RCA 630TS (with the wrong grille cloth). One of the first mass produced TVs right after the war in 1946. Also weighs about 100 lbs and a pain to ship. Should be a bit more plentiful in your area than other parts of the country though.

If you ever make it out near Chicago, I have one to sell.

Flemington is quite within Sam's reach.

People who do not drink, do not smoke, do not eat red meat will one day feel really stupid lying there and dying from nothing.

I don't know Mike, he didn't want to go get that radio over there.
