I posted about this in the July Finds thread. I picked up a Philco Signal Generator. I believe it is a modified Model 077. Does anyone know where I might find any info about it, specifically, a schematic, and maybe a manual?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Initial inspection coming up.

Here's pics from my initial inspection. The 3 tubes all checked out good. It looks like the cord has been replaced, and some components located near the cord entry have been removed (based on another copy of this model Bob Anderson posted about) . Some wax/tar has leaked out of the transformer, but I'm not getting any shorts. I have replacement caps on hand to replace the older ones. Any further info or tips anyone can provide would be helpful and appreciated.

Just in case you didn't find one yet.
KCMike, Thanks! This will be a big help. I just wish there was a numbered parts list included in this.

I looked around for a parts list and could not find one. Looks like the resistors and capacitor values are listed on the schematic.
Banderson has a youtube video of that model if you haven't seen it.

It's on the back burner. I have too many projects right now. Sorry. Best to start a new thread and ask for help.
Good Luck.

I'm currently working on a Philco 116B and the alignment instructions from the Riders manual for the Philco 116B says to use a Philco 088 Signal Generator which from what I've seen so far is a battery Operated Single Tube version of the 077 Signal Generator discussed here in this thread.
And the Alignment instructions for Aligning the IF section of the 116B says to just hook the signal generator directly to the grid cap of the 77 1st Detector tube and the chassis ground (antenna ground lead) and it doesn't mention using a capacitor inline with the antenna (positive) lead of the signal generator instructions.
But the Signal Generator I have though is a Heathkit SG-8 Signal Generator, which is an AC Operated Signal Generator, should I with my SG-8 attach a capacitor inline with the Antenna (Positive) lead of the signal generator since this is an AC operated unit rather than a Battery operated unit like the Philco 088 Signal Generator, and if so would the reason why they didn't suggest the use of a capacitor inline with the Antenna (positive) lead of the Philco 088 Signal Generator was because it was a battery operated unit?
Thanks for your help with this subject.
