Lookin' good. I like those large dial glass models, cabinet looks nice. How do you polish? After the cleaning do you use any "secrets".

5 or 6 tube?

Thanks.. I used Don Aslett's Wood Cleaner and Polish. Got it at home depot when I picked up the Howards Re-finisher for my wood cabinets..

It was the only thing I had that I thought would probably work.. So I tried it on inside and it looked good..

Its a 6 tube.. The 6th tube looks like a amp for Headphones?

Ok Finished up the recap and out of Tolerance Resistors..

[Image: http://i292.photobucket.com/albums/mm38/...eftpgc.jpg]

Brought up on Variac.. at 115 Volts draws about .20 Amps.. Stared to play just fine Many stations heard also The Canadian Station on 740 AM Load and clear..

Need a touch up on the dial .. Other wise will put together tomarrow..

Doesn't need any alignment as it plays just fine and many stations received ..

since you keep picking them from storage
where are you displaying them ? don`t think you ever said yet
are you keeping them all or selling at Kutztown

Some day, and that day may never come, I will call upon you to do a service for me. But until that day, accept this justice as a gift

Well, Good Question I planed on keeping them.. But right now have no place to display them. They are on a shelf in Garage right now.. I probably have about 15 or so left to do..

Wasn't planning on selling But who knows..

I just like working on them.. Been getting them from the Shed at Joe's that Terry,Kirk and Friends Visited Every time I go over I find something different I had not seen before...

I have the same issue,
I LOVE restoring them but not keeping them.
I keep my 1930's Philco's, my Halson's, and my Hallicrafters but besides some really neat off brand mantle sets I don't collect much else. I ended up having 60 radios that I did not know what to do with. I keep buying them when I run out of projects and I don't think I have any family or friends left to give one to who would care. Bring some to Kutztown if you want.
I got room for ya.
