I'm thinking that the haze was from humidity or oil based grain filler not being cured enough before using lacquer based sanding sealer. Just a whiteish haze in patches. The Mohawk Blush remover for the most part got rid of it.

really good work.....

the second picture as compared to the third,, the second pic looks like redwood stain. the third pic looks like red oak stain....

but........ i'll bet its just the difference in light and when each pic was taken.

having said that,, I'll take the second picture!

Actually it's medium walnut lacquer toner. I like the last pic the best 2nd is too red. A lot of it has to due with the lighting.
