Circuit diagram- Philco S521B Radio
#1
Smile

Hello, I'm new here.
I have a Philco Empire Automatic S521B Radio of GB (1938). I'd like to reactivate it, but I can't find on the internet a circuit diagram for this model. I have found a circuit diagram for Philco D521B but it isn't the same diagram which I need. I've attached photos of my radio. Is somebody able to help me?

Hi and welcome,
Give this one a try:  https://www.radio-workshop.co.uk/service...20D521.pdf

When my pals were reading comic books
I was down in the basement in my dad's
workshop. Perusing his Sam's Photofoacts
Vol 1-50 admiring the old set and trying to
figure out what all those squiggly meant.
Circa 1966
Now I think I've got!

The OP has stated that a D521 schematic is not the same as an S.521B schematic.

malkmm - I found a Philco (UK) Service Bulletin for model S.521. It may, or may not, be the same as an S.521B but maybe it will help? I will send you a private message (PM) on this subject.

It looks like the S521B might be a battery set, though it's also possible that someone may have swapped in an A.C chassis into the cabinet of the battery set.
