I was working on the Monitoradio that I bought earlier this month because when I first tested it I had no sound. Going by the Sams lit I found all voltages and resistance checks were normal. I could even force a strong IF and RF signal thru it. So why did I have no sound? looking at the bottom of the chassis and the picture in the Sams I noticed that there were extra parts that did not show up in the Sams, even a dual control. Turned out that this model, PR-155B2, has a squelch control installed. Receiver works just fine.
