Two radios for $10
#1

I went and bought a pile of Apple IIe stuff from out of an old house due for demolition yesterday. Inside the garage with the computers and parts were two radios, a GE console and a Westinghouse Radio-Phono table set. The guy said that the transformer was fried in the GE, but if I wanted them, I could have them both for $10. So, these came home with 7 Apple IIes and parts piled in the back of my Jimmy! Got the radios stashed away for now. As an added bonus tonight, I got all seven Apple IIes to boot up. Need to do some work on them all (especially cleaning), but it's nice they are working. Oh! When I opened the lid of the Westinghouse for the first time it still had a rather dirty, but inact 78 sitting on the turntable yet! Also it has a really chunky, sort of art-deco looking tone arm made of bakelite I think.

No matter where you go, there you are.
