replacing missing loop antenna Philco 49-1405
#1

Hello everyone,
Ya I know it's me again !
Well I have another quick question dealing with this Philco model no. 49-1405 am/phono combo.
It's missing the internal loop antenna.
well in the schematic diagram all it shows is the resistance only 3.6 ohms .
There is a 5pf mica cap in parallel with it Far as a replacement I going to make new one up .
Any idea what lenght of wire to use there is a little of it left .
So I can figure the gauge of bare copper wire.
Sincerely Rich
P.S. heres the schematic again if needed

Hi Rich

The 5 pF cap is in series with the external antenna lead.

Otherwise I'm afraid I can't help you much with this issue...
