philco16 B 121 code

i am working on a 16B and someone has added a jack on the back it ties into the c86 any idea what this is for aux cable is to big for it i also noticed that the cap part number is 6287-f this is a twin cap bit the schematic show's it to be a one capacitor was there a change some were or was there a philco mistake made here

It could be used for two things. A test point for the hv it's at +325vdc. Or it could be used to siphon off some hv to power some accessory not a great idea. The 80 tube is running at about it's maximum output and adding more load to it wouldn't be good. This is why on the console model it uses the 5Z3. It has twice the output capabilities at 250ma vs the 80 at 125ma.

It is a twin .15 mfd cap but the two are wire together making one .3mfd which is in parallel with the filter choke.

Don't hook any audio signal to it!!
