Phioco 90 Power Transformer Wire Colors
#1

Although I have used this site as a resource for a number of years this is my first post.   I am restoring a Model 90 single 47 radio.  I have been searching to find the wire colors for the power transformer and although there are several threads that cover the subject, I have not found any with complete information.  So I have done my best to ascertain the actual wire color and types in the unit I have.  This is what I have found and I hope some find it useful.

Primary - White 14 ga.
Rectifier HV - Yellow 16 ga.
HV center tap - Yellow with 3 strand blue tracer 18 ga.
Rectifier filament - Blue 16 ga.
47 tube filament - Green 16 ga.
47 tube filament CT - Black with 3 strand green tracer 20 ga.
Other filaments - Black 18 ga.
Other filaments CT - Black with 3 strand white tracer 20 ga.

This is all cloth covered wire and can be found at Rhode Island Wiring Services, YNZ Yesterdays parts, and Antique Electronic Supply.  The number of threads in the tracer may be one or two rather than three and 20 ga. is not available from RIWS or YNZ.  18 ga will substitute nicely.

Thanks for adding that information.
