The 37-116 is pretty much the same. There was two version or what Philco calls codes. The 37-116X code 121 was a manual tuning set made during the 1st half of the model year. It was a poor seller but command a good dollar nowdays. It's very different from your setup. The 37-116 code 122 is overall very much like the 38-116X, same tuning scheme.

In saying all this have a look at the 37-116 dial disasembely. Oh the 37-675X does too.

I was down in the basement in my dad's
workshop. Perusing his Sam's Photofoacts
Vol 1-50 admiring the old set and trying to
figure out what all those squiggly meant.

Now I think I've got!

What exactly are you looking for? How the dial is assembled, or where to get a replacement for the dial? I have pics of the disassembly of 2 37-116's and 1 38-116. I think I can come up with enough pics to show how the assembly is put together.

Benny, give this link a look see. It’s from the Philco Repair Bench website and has a detailed view and instructions on the 37-116 mechanism which should be close to what you’re looking for!
