Worth? Absolutely.
$100? If you really want it, otherwise personally I would haggle it down.

I would pay 40-50 for that. Its Vegas!, wanna gamble on it? Icon_mrgreen

Refinishing is a real pain with the legs. plan on using liquid stripper, a hard bristle brush and a tooth brush.

I've always liked that cabinet style:

I know radios are a bit more scarce in your area, but as others suggested I bet you could get that for between $50 & $75.

Agree not an easy cabinet to properly finish. BUT a VERY NICE looking cabinet when right.

The model 45 has BC and a nice fat shortwave band, similar to the 66, but it has one more tube than the 66. They are another example of a low tube count Philco that receives very well!!!

That's what I had thought I found near me a while back. It turned out to be a 66L instead and I just didn't feel like a 2 hour trip at the time. Now I would think the 45L to be more desirable. Hopefully you can haggle a little. Icon_smile

No matter where you go, there you are.

Nice radio.........Go Get It...
