Attn: error in 118 sch
#1

In the 128 sch there is an error, a very typical tor Philco schematics: a missing tie dot.
The filtered SG bias network R57-R58-C46 should connect to 78 RF, 6A7 and 78 IF tubes. But due to the missing tiedot it only connects to 6A7 and the two 78 tubes connect to each other and nothing else.

Good check is looking into 18 sch as the two are nearly identical.

People who do not drink, do not smoke, do not eat red meat will one day feel really stupid lying there and dying from nothing.

Hmm... this might explain why my late friend had issues getting my 118 consoles to work! I'll have to check to see if the one is an 18 or a 118, but we got an issue on the one that we couldn't figure out.

No matter where you go, there you are.

Good catch!  Will check my original bulletin
in the PRB archive cave and DOT it.
