I picked up one of these table top radios last weekend, heavy sucker. Anyway, does anyone have any knowledge of these and what, if any, pitfalls to watch out for when restoring one of these.

Had one back in the '70's when I was a teenager. Do remember it used a FM-1000 tube for the FM detector and it is a big table top set.
When my pals were reading comic books
I was down in the basement in my dad's
workshop. Perusing his Sam's Photofoacts
Vol 1-50 admiring the old set and trying to
figure out what all those squiggly meant.
Circa 1966
Now I think I've got!
