if anyone needs any help gettng a Hallicrafters S-38d runnng, give me a buzz 304 772 3411

I wont ever see this thread again because i am just posting to say i have restored one and got it running very well.

I can..........
give you voltage readings i am getting at test points to compare your radio
send pics of how mine is restored ect.
here is your capacitor list to get all the caps redone including the quad filter cap.


4 section filter cap c14A,B,C,D
20uf       25vdc                    qty need-1 + 1 spare
40uf       150vdc                  qty need-1 + 1 spare
40uf       150vdc                  qty need-1 + 1 spare
60uf       150vdc                  qty need-1 + 1 spare
