New member with a couple unusual Philco radios
#1

Been around the 'net since '87, but just joined this board. Anyway, I have a couple of unusual Philcos, one from New Zealand, and another from Peru.

Note from site admin: Sorry, but the photo which was attached to this post is no longer available.

Welcome! Icon_smile

Two very cool Philcos you have there. I just bought a 46-806. I've seen many photos of the NZ Philco sets but never have seen one "live and in person."

The 46-806 is identical in appearance to the 42-706. I used to have an A-707, which is a 42-706 chassis in a 42-PT3 cabinet. One of the sets I should have kept.

Cool. I have used the WA2ISE submini tube reference page plenty of times.
