help with 570 grandfather clock radio
#1

Hey all, I am restoring a Philco 570 grandfather clock radio. It has the original clock but of course there is a broken gear. Does anyone know of a suitable replacement clockwork motor? The hands and face are perfect so no replacement needed there. Thanks!

Most times people put in some of those AA battery movements.

People who do not drink, do not smoke, do not eat red meat will one day feel really stupid lying there and dying from nothing.

Why are you having to replace it? Does it measure out of tolerance? Is it mechanically damaged?DaleHCook — 07:50 AM

Thanks Rod, That makes perfect sense. Is there a way to edit my post? It's a Philco 50-925 and not a Philco 50-295. D...keith49vj3 — 09:55 PM
