Radio Identification
#1

Hi all,
I am trying to find any info on this philco radio. I have trolled the I'net and the Philco gallery but no joy.
It has an Airzone 6DWS chassis ( I'm in Australia ) and am lead to believe that may have been made under licence here.
Any help greatly appreciated. Oh and is supposed to painted / lacquered dark in areas.
Cheers, Geoff.

Hi Geoff and welcome,
Unfortunately it doesn't seem to bear any resemblance to the US Philco sets. But the good news is that there are a couple of other forums to inquire with. I would try here   https://antiqueradios.com/forums/viewfor...c6ddc99c69  and  https://vintage-radio.net/forum/index.php

Best of luck with your project!

When my pals were reading comic books
I was down in the basement in my dad's
workshop. Perusing his Sam's Photofoacts
Vol 1-50 admiring the old set and trying to
figure out what all those squiggly meant.
Circa 1966
Now I think I've got!
