my latest find a Philco "Flying Wedge"

Hello Everyone,
Here is my latest radio A Philco model 48-230 known as the "Flying  Wedge" it will need some cabinet repairs and then paint it ,
The cabinet is Styrene  .

Cool one!

The only one that is more outlandish is the boomerang, which is somehow always priced really crazy.

this one here is starting to get pricey to.
This set will need some cabinet work since I bought with a damaged cabinet .

I have one if these in Turquoise, with a big crack in the top. I bought it that way 40 years ago for $2. It looks great on a high shelf!

I have not worked on this set yet I have 2 on that I am working on currently my Philco 51-930 just need to clean up the cabinet and polish it then it's done and I am restoring the chassis on my Mitchell Lumitone !
