How did the dial mount on a model 37-84?  Was it on the cabinet or attached to the chassis?

It's nailed in using small tacks on the backside. You may have to remove the spkr/grille cloth to access all of the tacks. Do remove the dial pointer before the chassis else you'll break the dial...
