CT Radio Museum
#1

Hi folks,

I just returned from a trip to the Vintage Radio and Communications Museum of Connecticut, https://www.vrcmct.org/.  Luckily for me, it's only about a half hour from my home.  I recently picked up a 37-11X, and was really happy to see a 37-9 on display.  Along with that, I'm including pics of a few other neat Philcos I thought you might enjoy.  Sorry, but I'm not sure what the actual models are.

On a side note, one of the volunteers told me they have "tens of thousands" of tubes there.  People apparently find boxes of them in their basements and garages, and bring them to the museum.  He assured me that I could tell him what I needed for my restoration, and they'd have them.  He said they'd test them there first.  What a great place!

Take care,

My wife would kill me. It's about 180 miles from me, but doable, but Kutztown is probably about the same distance. I could take the ferry from Bridgeport or Orient Point to CT. It would not save me time, would cost me money but would save me windshield time.
