Speaker H 1930
#1

GRAZIE

Welcome to the Phorum!

Here’s the Google translation of Sergio’s post:

Hello to all forum members, I'm looking for instructions on rewinding the field coil of the H 1930 speaker, mounted on a Philco77. The coil had been rewound with two different wire gauges, 0.18 and 0.20 mm in diameter. The device was powered at 220 VAC instead of 110 VAC, so in addition to other damage, if the field coil was also burned, it's impossible to determine the number of turns. I'm wondering if anyone could help me.

THANK YOU

Sergio

I understood "bobina di campo" right away. Icon_smile

I do not know if the coil parameters exist, winding-wise, but its resistance is 3,200 Ohms (it is 2850 model).

So, take a sample of the wire that was used in it, measure diameter, look up the Ohms/meter value, calculate the length and then use a winding calculator to roughly calculate number of turns using your bobbin's geometry.

This should not be too difficult.

People who do not drink, do not smoke, do not eat red meat will one day feel really stupid lying there and dying from nothing.

Perfetto, grazie ancora
Sergio.

Thank you for the response, I didn't know where to start not having any data, Perfect!

Thanks again,
Sergio.
