I had a collector call these metal cased Atwater Kents "Hotwater Cans", although they don't really get that warm. I have a Model 40. It performs very similar to the RCA Radiola 18 that I also have, which is not remarkable as the tube complement is the same.
If I am right, there are no electrolytics in this set, but the paper caps (similar to those in Radiolas of the same period) are known to short. The extra socket on the power supply is for an extra 71, as this is Push-Pull. Another manufacturer of tables for these sets is "Kiel". These are the 6 legged tables that look like lamp tables.
Other than the use of a '26 instead of a '27, the audio section is similar to the Philco Model 20 and the interstage transformer article in our library applies:

The 2 big issues with this set are the hum caused by the '26 "AC" tubes and the use of a "grid leak detector", as these do distort, and it is hard for me to listen to music on these sets.
